The L.E. The library is seeking a reference services librarian to engage with the city’s creative thinkers, researchers, and users of information. As a member of our 11-person Reference Services Division, you’ll work closely with others to provide service and resource recommendations using both print and digital tools. You’ll collaborate with our cross-division “Dabble Box” makerspace team to develop, facilitate, evaluate, and promote innovative programs designed to meet the ever-evolving needs of our community. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in collection development and curate the library’s electronic resources collection.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, understand the critical role technology plays in modern library services, and demonstrate enthusiasm for learning leading-edge technology-related skills.

This is a full-time 40hr/week, exempt position. Rotating evenings and weekends are required. Benefits include paid holidays, floating holidays, sick leave, vacation leave, participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System, employee assistance program, and competitive health insurance benefits.
