Next week, WVLS will be launching a training series called Digital Bytes. Its purpose is to provide short, consistent training in a recorded, digital format.  They will be available and linked on then Digital Bytes section of the WVLS webpage.

Watch the video below.

The trainings are meant to be viewed as bite-sized pieces, and at least two will be launched per month.
Examples of topics include:

-Running New V-Cat Reports
-Email Etiquette
-Social Media Highlights
-What’s New in Facebook
-Customer Service Tips

The training will be practical, hands on, and applicable to any size of library. We will also be taking suggestions on what types of training you would like to see.

Why bite-sized training? This post on the Elucidat blog covers it well.

Along with the training, we will include a Digital Byte training guide with further resources to supplement the recording.
Stay tuned!
